Peace Family, What’s Going On?I’ve been on and off with this blog lately, and I want to let you know it’s not for lack of effort or interest—life has been overflowing with projects and changes. I haven’t been keeping up with my blogging as consistently as I’ve promised myself, and I haven’t reorganized and cleaned my office studio the way I said I would. All these things, however, are happening for very good reasons. Taking some time between blog posts has allowed me the space to let new ideas and opportunities manifest in my life.
In all honesty, I’ve been diligently jotting down notes in my many journals, to-do lists, and project books, but sometimes the act of being so organized makes me feel like I’m already ahead of the game—even when there’s still a ton left to work on. It’s a bit like realizing you’ve taken some water out of the ocean, only to see that it just keeps on flowing infinitely. No matter how much progress I make, there’s always more to fix, question, and add. The lesson here is not to be too critical of yourself, because that can quickly turn joy and accomplishment into bitterness and anguish.
Today, I’m excited to share a major update in my journey—something that’s been on my heart for a while now. I’ve joined forces in support, partnership, and solidarity with the Nahuce Nasarawa Village Development Initiative. I’ve had the pleasure of personally consulting and supporting my good brother, Rahdream—real name Ibrahim Mohammed Awal (Raheem Dream). He’s an emcee, community organizer, CEO, teacher, motivational speaker, and a true universal native. Together, we’ve been aligning our visions and collaborating on ideas and support systems that are now propelling his Global Non-profit Organization forward. Rah has taken bold steps to support his Nigerian brothers and sisters, and people of African descent around the globe, by laying the foundation for a school with three buildings. This school aims to offer a free curriculum free from colonial influences, along with teachings on gardening, sustainability, hydroponic farming, and much more. His mission also includes capturing the wisdom of elders in his community and sharing their stories, visions, and advice with future generations.
There’s a deep connection in this work—a commitment to making communities great again, as Rah calls it with his Global Village Initiative. I’m proud to welcome Rah and his partners into the V2G Multimedia family, where their inspiring journey will be showcased for everyone looking to support or learn from this transformative work. I’m truly honored to be part of this effort, knowing that our combined energy will impact so many lives. I ask for your support, whether it’s through sharing this vision or by contributing directly.
